class=\"ekit-team-modal-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tanvi Jha has over 20 years of experience in advocacy, program and partnership management. As State Program Manager for the Jharkhand Office, she brings in extensive experience of working with women, adolescents and children in tribal and non-tribal communities of the state. Some of the core issues that are her areas of expertise are child rights, gender and adolescent empowerment. She has been on national and state level committees constituted by the government for adolescent and child rights. She is well connected with the government and civil society at both the state and national levels.<\/p>\n<p>Tanvi started her career with the Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi in 2003 as a Research Assistant. She has gained in-depth understanding on social issues related to women, children and adolescents and has worked extensively on community-based and action research projects.<\/p>\n<p>She has been awarded a media fellowship by the Department of Information &amp; Public Relations, Government of Jharkhand and has a published a few research papers too on community work with children. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Council for Development Alternatives (YCDA), an organisation established in 1993 that has expanded its work across eight districts of Odisha in collaboration with government departments, corporate partners, and national and international foundations&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Meher is widely respected for his leadership in child rights programming, with core expertise in education, alternative care, institutional care standards, and preventive child protection approaches. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening government systems and statutory mechanisms, including serving as a former Member of the Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board, and as Chairperson of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Odisha&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, he has championed the integration of cross-cutting themes such as climate change resilience and WASH into child protection frameworks, recognising their critical importance for children from vulnerable and marginalised communities. His work integrates legal expertise with programme management, advocacy, and training to develop sustainable, on-ground solutions for children in vulnerable situations.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Satyajeet served as Director &ndash; Advocacy at Catalysts for Social Action, where he led a state-level initiative to strengthen foster care systems in Maharashtra in partnership with the government and UNICEF. He also spearheaded the organisation&rsquo;s field research on deinstitutionalisation during the COVID-19 pandemic and hosted the podcast Care of the State, which examined critical issues in child protection and alternative care in India.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, he has engaged closely with national and state-level government authorities to support policy implementation and safeguard the rights of children, and has facilitated capacity-building workshops for child protection functionaries across India. His work has been published on platforms such as the India Alternative Care Network and India Development Review, contributing to informed dialogue on aftercare, foster care, and deinstitutionalisation.<\/p>\n<p>Satyajeet is currently pursuing Advanced LL.M. in International Children&rsquo;s Rights at Leiden University, the Netherlands, with the objective of strengthening the
