Pros

We're enamored with Roll's simplicity and user-friendly design. Setting up clients, adding users, and managing chargeout rates is a breeze. The intuitive timer feature makes tracking time on each job effortless, providing clarity on job status, team assignments, and budgetary progress. Additionally, the ability to customize hourly rates for different team members ensures accurate chargeouts, while features like task and note management help us stay organized and focused. Cons

While there's little to dislike about Roll, we've encountered a few minor quirks. It's important to click "COMPLETE" at the end of each project to ensure accurate time tracking, as leaving jobs open can skew daily totals. Additionally, there's a risk of leaving the timer running inadvertently, especially over weekends, if the software isn't closed properly. Information It started in 2013 in our Creative Web Agency. Business was going great and the team was growing. But managing the business became more challenging. We tried a bunch of different tools and applications to help us run our business. While we liked many of them, sooner or later we always ran into the same problem – key information spread across different tools and applications that weren’t talking to each other making it hard (and time consuming) to really know how business was going, track progress on projects and to collaborate with our team. Most importantly to us was getting visibility on how we were tracking for End of Month billings.
